A physically distanced Speech from the Throne
Governor General Julie Payette delivered the speech to a smaller-than-usual audience on September 23.
A limited number of Parliamentarians and dignitaries gathered in the Senate chamber on Wednesday for a Speech from the Throne ceremony, which was adjusted in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
